Living Alone........ |
Help at hand when you need it . . . and only
when you need it |
 |
| No-one wants to give up their independence.
But, let’s face it, the days when the family all lived round the
corner are long gone. So even the most confident and competent
person living alone can sometimes feel isolated and insecure |
 |
What if there was an accident?
What if there was a burglar, or a fire? |
 |
Even seemingly silly things can cause
anxiety, like getting stuck in the bath, getting locked out or even
slipping on the steps when you fetch the milk. With Viewcare's
or
you can put these worries behind you.

Elderly does not mean infirm........ |
|
|
Lets'
get away from the stereotype that to be old is to be sick, unable to
learn new things or pull your own weight. We need to take care that
seniors who are living alone can do so healthily, safely and comfortable
in the knowledge that if something goes wrong help is at hand. A recent
study in the US established that older people are more likely to age
well than to become decrepit and dependant. Of those age 65 to 74, fully
89% reported no disability whatsoever. Even in advanced years an
overwhelming majority have very little disability. So why can't they
have a full and active life in their own home. But if you need that
little extra safety net then
is the
product for you. |

Mrs Scarborough Story....... |
| |
Mrs Scarborough's daughter use to
live in the next road but since her daughters
husbands changed job, she's now hours away, Oh yes they can still talk
on the phone but its not the same as her popping in every morning.
So what was Mrs's Scarborough main worries, falling over in the home or
garden and forgetting to take her heart pills, Her daughter use to
remind her every morning.
Since then she contacted us and we fitted an
with a fall pendant and setup up the medical reminder's to advise her
every morning.
Her daughter is much happier as well as she feels confident that if
anything happens the Amber unit will phone either her or her brother and
they can then deal with the mothers problem themselves. |
